Making the switch to a shampoo bar is a brilliant way to cut down on plastic bottle waste from your bathroom. This PH-balanced 2in1 solid shampoo + conditioner bar from Shower Blocks is a great way to make the swap.
This ginger and honey scented bar is great for itchy scalps! Each bar is infused with crambe abyssinica seed oil to add a healthy dose of conditioning and leave your hair feeling great, and for an itchy scalp, cotton seed oil is added for it’s anti inflammatory properties, helping to soothe the scalp.
High Foaming, Ph Balanced and long lasting. This shampoo bar is completely vegan, handmade in the UK, and never tested on animals. Each bar lasts up to two months, but will obviously vary based on hair thickness, length, and frequency of washing. Your hair and the planet are both about to be just that little bit better off.
The fact that this shampoo bar is PH balanced means you can seamlessly switch from using a liquid shampoo straight to using a shampoo bar without your hair going through a transition phase, as can happen when using some shampoo bars.
Wet your hair through in the shower, and then take the bar and wet it. Run the bar over your hair to create a foam. If you have longer hair you may want to run the bar root to tip to get quicker coverage. Once foam has started to appear put your bar down (not in a puddle of water) and froth up the foam by rubbing your hands through it in your hair. You’ll notice it get super foamy! That means it’s working perfectly. Once you’ve washed your hair through, simply rinse out and then you’re done!

I was a bit sceptical about trying a shampoo bar again (after a few iffy attempts) but was recommended to try this brand. I’ve now used it a few times and it worked perfectly from the first time! No heaviness or residue that some shampoo bars can leave! This scent smells beautiful too and it’s vegan.
